Scientology is a religion that recognizes both good and evil. It believes that we live in a socially and ecologically interconnected world and are not alone in our struggles. Mind over matter
The main idea of Scientology is that man is a spiritual being. As such, all great religions have the idea of spiritual freedom, a life free from material limitations and misery. However, this concept is difficult to apply to our society today. However, Scientology maintains that the solutions to today’s problems are straightforward and within everyone’s reach. These problems can range from interpersonal relationships to communication issues. Other issues can include insecurities and self-doubt.
Scientologists are encouraged to develop a more expansive worldview and identify with greater realities. First, they feel the urge to survive as individuals, then they identify with their family, their tribe, and ultimately, with all humankind. They then use these experiences to expand their worldview. An intergalactic civilization
Scientology promotes the idea that we are part of an ancient intergalactic civilization that once existed on other planets. Many members believe that a creature known as Xenu has come to Earth to enslave humanity. Although the religion’s members are secretive about their beliefs, they have made it clear that they believe in the existence of Xenu, an intergalactic entity that wants to enslave humanity.
Scientology’s founder, L. Ron Hubbard, also mentioned the existence of alien civilizations in his writings. While he didn’t go into details, his books often mention things like the Three-and-a-Half Invaders and the Psi Galaxy.
Self-help
Scientology self-help beliefs focus on the individual. It teaches the principles that regain one’s self-confidence. Self-confidence is one of the desirable qualities in life. With this knowledge, people can become more successful in business, personal relationships, and more. Here are a few of its principles.
First, Scientologists believe that man is not just his mind or body. He is also a spirit. You can gain control over your mind and body by learning how to communicate with your spirit. In fact, without the guidance of your spirit, your body would not be able to act. The idea behind Scientology’s beliefs is that you can influence the way your mind and body function and be more effective at helping others.
Children
Scientology believes that the human spirit consists of a soul and a body. Therefore, it is possible to control both. Without the guidance of the soul, the body would not act in its natural way. Hence, the child is taught to control both the body and the mind.
In Scientology, this understanding of good and evil controls human behavior. Members of Scientology try to control the behavior of their followers through their tones. These tones are used in their daily routines, called “Training Routines.” Critics claim that some of these exercises leave believers in a hypnotic state.
Non-denominational
The non-denominational beliefs of Scientologist are based on the belief that man is more than just his body and mind. He is also a spirit. In the Scientology religion, man is free to choose his political views and vote for the candidate. Scientology does not endorse political candidates or take a position on any particular issue. However, it does believe in the separation of church and state.
In addition, the religion claims that humans are immortal spirits trapped in several bodies over many lifetimes. This concept is similar to Hindu belief, where the individual is a divine spirit. Scientology believes that man is a spiritual being created by God and that the problems we face result from sin and self-centeredness.
